What do you do when the words won’t come?
The ideas swim in my head like koi in the pond at the zoo, but when I try to string a sentence together, nothing’s coming out just yet. Not even blog posts- as you can see by my absence.
I’m curious what others do to beat the block. Lately I’m researching and taking a lot of notes.

It depends. I’ll usually let myself get distracted with stuff online. Chatting with friends on Twitter (though some know I should be writing), searching pages for anything, blogging, and sometimes art, reading or walks. I could do homework instead but that’s usually on a must do instead of want to do status.

Haha, well, you’d still better do your homework.

I just start a random writing- a scene, a bit of a conversation- and go from there. Sometimes it ends up words on the page and sometimes it goes somewhere.

Random, huh? Sounds like a good idea.
